Chief Practice Officer/Clinical Director
Dr. Ali Nikbakht (Dr. Ali) is a behavioral health leader, clinician, and clinical supervisor with advanced training in psychology, marriage and family therapy, law, and business. He holds a PsyD, LMFT, JD, and PhD in Business, bringing a unique blend of clinical expertise, systems-level leadership, legal understanding, and operational experience to the treatment field.
Dr. Ali has spent his career working in behavioral health with a strong focus on substance use disorders, mental health treatment, and family healing. His clinical work has included supporting individuals struggling with depression, opioid use, alcohol use, stimulant use, and other substance-related challenges. He believes effective treatment must address the whole person, including emotional health, relapse patterns, relationships, family systems, trauma, coping skills, and long-term recovery planning.
Throughout his career, Dr. Ali has managed and overseen multiple rehabilitation and behavioral health programs, supervised clinical teams, supported program development, and helped guide clinicians in delivering ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based care. His leadership approach is rooted in accountability, clinical excellence, and a deep belief that people can recover when they are given structure, support, honesty, and the right treatment environment.
A major part of Dr. Ali’s clinical philosophy is the importance of healing the family system. He understands that addiction, depression, and emotional struggles do not impact the individual alone. They affect parents, spouses, children, siblings, and loved ones. His work emphasizes restoring communication, rebuilding trust, strengthening boundaries, and helping families become part of the recovery process in a healthy and supportive way.
Dr. Ali is passionate about making high-quality behavioral health care more accessible through virtual treatment. His goal is to provide clients with meaningful support, practical tools, and clinically sound guidance that helps them stabilize, grow, and move toward lasting recovery from the comfort and privacy of their own environment.
